This engine is really easy to put in a few parts and get awesome HP. Just add the 50 dollar cam listed here and you won't believe the difference. I would let the cam work by letting this engine breath with a filter adapter and a header. The change is so big that you need to change the stock .028" jet to a .036" jet, just so it has enough gas to burn! It won't run right without the bigger jet. This is just a couple of bolt on items that cost less than 100 dollars and will really bring this engine to life, add some stronger valve springs, a billet rod and wheel and hang on, cause you will be getting over 13hp easy. That is true hp, not inflated at all!
This engine is super easy to work on and add the parts. No special tools and all you really need besides normal handtools is a torque wrench. For the price of a refresh, you can have a new engine that will give you the power you need. Check your local track rules, or build one for your yard kart and have enough power to wear out tires.........
